Elementary Art Teacher
Falk School, a coeducational K-8 laboratory school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dynamic, full-time art teacher for the next academic year, beginning August 2021.
Salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience. Falk School, which is a department in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh, offers excellent benefits.
Ideal candidates should have experience designing and implementing curriculum, working with diverse students with varied learning styles and levels of mastery, engaging young children in meaningful, process-oriented artmaking, and maintaining a nurturing student-centered classroom environment. Candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills, be reflective, and be able to develop collaborative relationships with students, parents, faculty, and the arts community. Knowledge of both traditional and contemporary art, evidence of being a practicing artist, an understanding of the Reggio Approach and progressive education, and conducting dynamic, engaging distance/online learning are all a plus.
A Master’s Degree and a degree in art education or equivalent coursework are required. Broad experience is advantageous, as partnering across disciplines and grade levels are valued at our school. Highly creative work experience in the field of elementary education is an asset.

Position: Accountant
Bible Center Church (BCC) is a multigenerational urban ministry whose vision is to make earth more like heaven. We implement this vision through the initiatives of our community and economic development division—The Oasis Project (TOP).
The ideal candidate will be a passionate, mission-driven, accounting professional who will contribute to the financial planning, reporting, and decision-making to achieve our objective of making earth look more like heaven. This position will be responsible for the general accounting, budgeting, grant management, senior management reporting and financial
reporting while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulations.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities include but are NOT limited to the following:
•Maintains general ledger and accounting records to ensure they accurately reflect the agency’s financial position.
•Helps to prepare program budgets and performance reports to ensure a stable funding of operations.
•Manages, oversees and assists the Full Charge Bookkeeper in the accounts payable function to ensure accurate and timely payment of financial commitments.
•Record all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.
•Prepare and files monthly sales tax returns
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Bachelors or Masters Degree in accounting or finance
•Demonstrated experience using Quickbooks
•Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and nonprofit reporting.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Paychex Payroll System, Quickbooks Desktop Premier and other applications related to finance and accounting.

•This is a full time position.
