The Human Services Center Corporation (HSCC) in Turtle Creek is looking to fill a full-time position of Youth Development Associate in the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) which is a workforce development and college readiness program for low-income seniors in high school. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply. The tentative start date for the position is May 3, 2021 (with some flexibility if necessary).
A qualified applicant must have a passion for direct practice work, experience working with youth, preferably teenagers, and possess a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates must possess current Act 33/34 and FBI clearances or at least start applying for them to be considered for an interview. In addition, applicant must have own reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and acceptable driving record.
Major responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, providing overall case management services to the teen participants, completing all enrollment and assessment forms and other relevant paperwork on a consistent basis, and developing and implementing educational sessions with groups of students in a classroom setting and/or in a virtual setting.
This full-time position is a salaried position with a range of $33,000-$35,000 per year with an exceptional benefits package (including free health insurance, outstanding retirement plan with no match necessary and plenty of time off). The schedule is usually Monday-Friday with the individual working most of the year in the high school setting during the building hours.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative support functions for the Borough Sewer Utility. This position requires excellent computer, verbal communication and written skills. The position also requires strong customer service skills and the ability to perform a variety of tasks as needed. This position handles several financial processes associated with the sewer utility system. ACTIVITIES REQUIRED FOR
SEPARATION OF FISCAL DUTIES:
•Records all sewer payments received by the Borough through the mail or in person from customers.
•Provides the checks, list of receipts and cash records to the Manager.
•Makes deposits to bank(s) through remote capture device. Prepares any cash deposit for Manager to deliver to bank.
•Consults with Treasurer as needed on financial matters.
•May retrieve information on finances at request of Treasurer/Manager for clarification of decisions on financial matters.
•Reports problems related to financial management to Manager or Treasurer.

•Associates degree, minimum high school diploma or GED, and/or prior work experience.

•Current valid PA driver’s license.
•Ability to pass a drug test.
•Ability to successfully pass a personal background investigation.
