Associate Employee Relations Representative

Port Authority is seeking an Associate Employee Relations Representative to provide labor analysis and technical support to the Employee Relations Department by maintaining and administering the grievance tracking and corrective action database.  Generates reports, analyze, interpret data and provide recommendations. Essential Functions:   

  • Utilizes PeopleSoft HRMS to perform the following:

         o Prepare, update and maintain department records

  • Collects, enters, maintains, analyzes, interprets, and distributes data and information from a wide variety of internal and external sources regarding issues related to all Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Provides statistical analysis of trends of employee grievances and disciplinary activity. Prepares quarterly and annual statistical reports of types and frequency of actions taken concerning grievance, discipline, arbitration, and related labor relations activities in order to identify problem areas.

Job requirements include:   

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • BA/BS degree in Industrial

Relations/Labor Relations, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited school.  Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

  • Minimum of three (3) years Human Resource experience, with a minimum of one (1) year employee or labor relations experience.

The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Quantitative Analytics & Model Development Professional in Pittsburgh, PA. within the Market Risk Management department, be responsible for performing advanced quantitative analyses and/or model/tool development to support business decision-making or risk management, as well as documenting analyses and results appropriately and supporting internal/external communications. Support market risk models on mortgage related assets and modeling of interest rate risk on bank balance sheet with major exposures to mortgage/MBS products as well as interest rate derivatives hedging the balance sheet, among other assets/liabilities. Support independent review of bank stress testing processes. Specific duties include: (i) support the line of business by analyzing and developing new model/tool frameworks; (ii) refine, monitor, review and/or validate existing models/tools; (iii) work with large and/or complex datasets to create or test models/tools; (iv) perform quantitative analysis and develop reports; (v) perform qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models or quantitative tools including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity; (vi) analyze complex data and associated quantitative analysis and summarize results; (vii) make recommendations based on findings from data analytics; (viii) use quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks; (ix) evaluate identified model risks and reach conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model; (x) conduct on-going communication with model stakeholders such as developers, owners and reviewers; and (xi) prepare detailed documents on quantitative models/tools for internal/external communications and/or regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.

Master’s degree in Computational Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics plus 3 years of experience in a position requiring quantitative modeling and documentation is required. Experience required with the following: (i) developing, maintaining and/or validating behavior models for mortgage/MBS prepayment risk, including model performance testing and risk assessment; (ii) maintaining interest rate term structure models, including performance monitoring, model update and risk assessment; (iii) usage and interpretation of analytical reports in the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) balance sheet management system and risk management process for Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB); (iv) maintenance of valuation models on interest rate derivatives commonly used for bank balance sheet hedging (swaps and swaptions); (v) documentation of model testing results and defending the results for independent review and validation; (vi) programming in VBA, SQL and statistical tools (R or SAS); and (vii) performing analytical work for bank stress testing processes.

TITLE: Facilities Engineer

REPORTS TO: Maintenance & Facilities Director

JOB FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of the Maintenance & Facilities Director, the Facilities Engineer has the primary responsibility for cleaning the Charter School in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the Facilities Engineer to follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules at the Urban Academy of Greater Pittsburgh Charter School including, but not limited to, the classrooms, kitchen, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas, entrances, and external grounds area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follows and completes the center’s daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule. These duties include:

o Collects and bags all garbage from the center, placing the tied bags in a closed dumpster.

o Disinfects and cleans garbage and trashcans, and changes bags daily.

o Washes and sanities bathrooms  fixtures daily with germicidal solution.

o Using germicidal solution, wet mops all washable floors daily including kitchen, bathroom, office, and classroom.

o Washes bathroom, kitchen, classroom, and other windows (in side and outside) and walls using germicidal solution as scheduled or needed.

  • Vacuums all carpeting daily.
  • Sweeps and clears entrance spaces, daily.
  • Dusts, washes, and sanitizes other surfaces as specified in schedule.
  • Performs other cleaning duties as specified in schedule.
  • Refills paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers.
  • Changes light bulbs, as needed.
  • Maintain the grounds area by sweeping the sidewalks, trimming, and mowing of grass and the like.
  • Participates in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as requested.
  • Attends and participates in center pre-service and in-service trainings.
  • Performs other duties as specified in job description addendum or as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
