BOROUGH OF BRADDOCK COUNCIL MEETING

A special meeting of the Borough of Braddock Council will be held in person only Thursday July 21st at 7pm at the Braddock Borough Building, 415 6th Street Braddock, PA 15104, in Council Chambers. Council may take action on personnel items and any other issue that may come before the Borough. The Borough meetings will no longer be hybrid setup. All meetings will be in person only.

 

ALLEGHENY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES PUBLIC MEETINGS/HEARINGS ON THE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES PLAN

The Allegheny County Department of Human Services (DHS) is preparing the 2022-2023 County Human Services Plan. There will be two virtual public meetings to talk about the plan and its implementation as part of a State of the Human Services Address. Join us on Wednesday, July 27 at 11:30 a.m. or Thursday, July 28 at 4:30 p.m.

SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA COMMISSION

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) has set the following meeting dates for fiscal year 2022-2023. The Commission Executive Committee meetings will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, October 24 and December 12, 2022; and February 27, April 24, and June 26, 2023. The regular meetings of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, October 24 and December 12, 2022; and February 27, April 24, and June 26, 2023. The meetings will be both virtual and in-person, held in the SPC Conference Center at Two Chatham Center, Suite 400, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

SPC is committed to compliance with nondiscrimination requirements of civil rights statutes, executive orders, regulations and policies applicable to the programs and activities it administers. Accordingly, SPC is committed to ensuring that program beneficiaries receive public participation opportunities without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or economic status.

SPC will provide auxiliary services for individuals with language, speech, sight or hearing needs, provided the request for assistance is made 3 days prior to the meeting. Title VI Notice to Public: The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) hereby gives public notice that it is the policy of the Commission to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, Executive Order 12898 on Environmental Justice, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI and other related statutes require that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, age, or disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which SPC receives federal financial assistance. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice by SPC under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with the Commission.
