Parker, the child of Ainslie Johnson and Vaughan Parker, verbalized at age 6 that she knew she was supposed to follow God spiritually and become a child minister in training.

Parker, who will begin third grade at the Milton Hershey School, enjoys volunteering at Nabhi Christian Ministries, including being an usher, doing the opening address at Sunday service, writing songs, singing, painting, and cooking with Aunt Tara.

A dedication ceremony for Parker was held at the church, 7060 Lemington Ave., July 31.
