At the time of appointment, be Act 120 Certified under MPOETC. Be of good moral character, must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer and agree to uphold and abide by the Town’s mission statement. Be free of habitual addiction to liquor or drugs. Be eligible to carry a firearm and be free from conviction of a disqualifying crime in accordance with the Police Officers Education and Training Program of Title 37 of the PA Code. Satisfy the requirements of Act 57 of 2020 pertaining to background checks.
