Evan Dozier, Jere Addo, Ethan Zawacki, Alexis Rollins and Lyndon Frost are serious about music.
The high school and college students formed the Evan Dozier Quartet earlier this summer (2026), and have spent time performing for audiences at a variety of locations, including at Hotel Indigo in East Liberty, where the New Pittsburgh Courier was invited to their performance.
For the June 26 early-evening performance, Naomi Teter was the guest vocalist.
Chris Petraglia is the social media manager for the YouTube page “TheLoungePGH,” which spotlights jazz musicians from throughout the area.
Petraglia and Dozier both attended North Allegheny High School, and Dozier currently attends the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. Zawacki attends the Hartt School, part of the University of Hartford, Rollins attends Duquesne University, Addo is a senior at Central Catholic High School, and Frost is a senior at Pittsburgh CAPA.
