Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken to a hospital after suffering a head injury while serving his federal prison sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey.

According to multiple reports, the 56-year-old music mogul was transported from the prison early Saturday morning for treatment of what was described as a non-life-threatening injury. The cause of the injury has not been publicly disclosed.

Combs was reportedly conscious and speaking before being transported and returned to the prison later that day.

A representative for Combs acknowledged the reports in a statement, saying his team was still working to determine exactly what happened.

“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” the representative said. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was also ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.

The reported hospitalization comes amid continued attention surrounding Combs’ time at Fort Dix.

In recent weeks, reports have alleged that Combs had access to prohibited cellphones and other contraband while incarcerated. He was later reportedly disciplined by prison officials for disruptive conduct and lost 41 days of good-conduct credit, pushing back his expected release date.

His legal troubles have also continued outside the prison. Combs was recently ordered to pay NBCUniversal $477,700 in legal fees after losing a $100 million defamation lawsuit related to the documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.

No additional details about the reported head injury have been released, and it remains unclear how Combs was hurt.

His representatives have said his health and well-being remain their immediate concern.
