Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited the Flamingo Bar in the Hill District, CJ’s in the Strip District, Galaxy Lounge in Homewood, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District and Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District.

My first stop was at the Flamingo Bar in the Hill District where DJ Bubblegum was doing his thing on the 1’s and 2’s for the crowd.

My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where “The New Soul Band” held an event for the late blues singer Leroy Wofford and it was a packed house.

My next stop was Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where birthday man “Chewy” was celebrating his birthday with friends who came out.

My next stop was at the Galaxy Lounge in Homewood where everyone came out to watch Pittsburgh Steelers win over the New York Jets. Everyone was sporting the “Galaxy Football Club” t-shirts in black and gold and the food was great too.

My final destination was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District where Reverend Glenn Grayson, First Lady Marsha Grayson and the rest of Grayson family of Wesley Center A.M.E. Zion Church invited everyone to Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District to their “Watch Party and Fundraiser”. The Grayson family played on the game show “The Family Feud” and won. All proceeds went to the Jeron X. Grayson Community Center, formerly the Ozanam Cultural Center.

You know Brotha Ash has a REAL CONNECTION to the community. Send all of your party and event information to info@brothaashproductions.com and I’ll see you next week OUT AND ABOUT!
