Kwanzaa Event
DEC. 28—The Community Empowerment Association will host the 19th Annual Kwanzaa 2013 from 3-9 p.m. at the Arts, Cultural and Training Institute, 7120 Kelly St., Homewood. The evening will include African dancing, children’s activities, Amir Rashad the storyteller, The Ibeji Drum Ensemble, BALAFON West African Drum Ensemble, Community Building Awards and more. DEC. 31—Macaroni Kid of Pittsburgh LLC., will host its “Jammie Jam 2014-New Year’s At Noon” Celebration at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Latitude 40 Entertainment Destination, 200 Quinn Dr., Robinson.
