POLICE OFFICERS
CITY OF ALIQUIPPA
Qualified persons are invited to apply to the City of Aliquippa Civil Service Commission to take competitive examinations leading to eligibility for appointment as Police Officer in the City of Aliquippa Police Department.  An application form may be obtained beginning February 17, 2014 at the City Building, 581 Franklin Avenue, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  Completed applications must be returned by 4:00 PM, March 3, 2014 with a $50.00 nonrefundable application fee payable to the City of Aliquippa.
REQUIREMENTS: The applicants are required to have completed Act 120 prior to submitting the application, have a high school diploma or GED, be a minimum of 18 years of age, hold a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, be a U.S. Citizen and be physically and mentally fit to perform duties of a police officer. Successful applicants must meet all other Civil Service requirements.

Director of Code
Enforcement
The Borough of Wilkinsburg is seeking a Director of Code Enforcement to manage the code enforcement, planning, zoning and community development functions of the municipality.  This is a highly responsible, professional position.  While primarily administrative in nature, the position also requires the Director to perform work in the field.  The Director of Code Enforcement directs and supervises the activities of all code enforcement personnel. A minimum of five years’ progressively responsible experience as a management level employee, preferably in municipal management, building industry or code enforcement, is required. Training Specialist
Port Authority is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to act as an internal consultant working with individuals, departments and groups within the Port Authority developing, delivering and maintaining educational programs to increase effectiveness and productivity of all personnel.
Job requirements include:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•Associate Degree in Communication, Education, Psychology, Business or directly related field from an accredited school.  Directly related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of two (2) years experience in program/project administration.
•Minimum of one (1) year experience as a facilitator/trainer for adult learners.
•Minimum of two (2) years experience in developing and delivering educational, informational and job/task–oriented programs for adults.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Willingness and ability to work shifts and pass days.
•Valid PA driver’s license.
•Handles multiple tasks, high volume, and adheres to deadline.
Preferred attributes:
•Bachelor Degree in Communication, Education, Psychology or directly related field from an accredited school.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of PeopleSoft Human Resources Modules.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of PeopleSoft Financial Modules.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
