Marketing Success Seminar

Second Step
    JULY 25—The University of Pittsburgh Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence’s Small Business Development Center will host the “Second Step: Developing a Business Plan” seminar from 7:30-10 a.m. at the University of Pittsburgh, Mervis Hall, Roberto Clemente Dr., Oakland. Attendees will learn about operational and production planning, conducting market research and creating financial planning spreadsheets to attract funding for one’s business.     JULY 30—Duquesne University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement will host the “Personal Effectiveness Webinar Series: Leading With Emotional Intelligence” from 12-1 p.m. Facilitator Sonia Layne-Gartside will discuss how to evaluate one’s current level of emotional intelligence, how to understand how their emotions affect others, how other’s emotion affect them, and how to identify communication strengths and weaknesses.
