Women’s Revival
SEPT. 24—The Women’s Ministry of Carrone Baptist Church, 7119 Frankstown Ave., Homewood, will host its Fall Harvest Women’s Retreat at 7 p.m. The theme for the three-day event is “The Call, The Value and The Security of Wisdom.” The guest speakers will be Rev. Armenia Johnson, Rev. June Jeffries and Rev. Angela Jones. The guest praise teams will be the Nazarene Baptist Church Praise Team, Rev. Marriage Works
SEPT. 26—Pastor Andrew V. and Rev. Helen Jackson will host its 2014 Marriage & Family Enrichment Classes from 7-9 p.m. at Webster Avenue Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 2325 Webster Ave., Hill District. The theme is “Make a good marriage even better.” Every Friday through Oct. 3, pastors and their spouses will learn about effective communication, conflict resolution and roles and responsibilities.
