    NOV. 6—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host its Lunch & Learn Series at 12:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business Branch, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown. The topic will be “How to start a small business using A to Z Databases.” Christine Smailys, of A to Z Databases, will facilitate this seminar, in the form of a webinar. She will demonstrate ways entrepreneurs and businesses can utilize data from the library business A to Z Databases to start and grow their business. Business Growth Program
    NOV. 12—Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship will host its My Business Growth Program from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at Chatham University, Woodland Rd., Shadyside. The topic is “Marketing for Growth.” This is an entrepreneurial growth program customized for women business owners looking to strategically position their businesses for growth and expansion.
