:10—The Lakers might be dead, but Kobe’s not.  Did you catch the in-detail interview of the 3rd all time leading scorer in NBA history?  It’s raw, it’s honest, and it gives you Kobe up close and personal. Catch it on your NBA cable channel.
:09—OK, I was wrong about Pitt.  They came up short down the stretch, but a good season nonetheless.  And it doesn’t hurt when you beat Notre Dame, North Carolina and Syracuse along the way.  Let’s win the NIT.  Remind people that Jamie Dixon and the Pitt program are legit and get ready to get in the hunt for next year. Editor’s Note: George Washington defeated Pitt 60-54 in NIT 1st round Tuesday night.
:08—I told you a few weeks ago about the Penn Hills girls’ basketball team. . . well, I’m telling ya again, and not just because I am a Penn Hills guy. . .OK, yes it is, but the truth is this, John Tate has taken the program to another level to be sure.  Of course you’ll remember     that Coach Tate comes from a great basketball pedigree.  He was a star player at the University of Massachusetts under Coach Cal when they made a national run. Coach Tate knows exactly what to do to get the job done.  Add to that mix Coach Rob Cash and the workman get it done at all cost. Attitude, he played with and brings to the table and you’ve got a state title waiting to be had.  Go Indians!!!

:07—Kyrie Irving set Texas on fire with a 57 point performance that even King James had to marvel at.  Any way you could score the basketball, Erving did so.  Sure he torched the Spurs, but the game was lost at the line.  Make one foul shot with time running out and we’re not having this conversation. Trust me “Coach Pop” will be ready for “Special K” come championship time.
