MARCH 19—The Association of Fundraising Professionals will host its workshop on Expert Advice for Nonprofit Job Seekers and Employers from 12-1:30 p.m. at Shannopin Country Club, 1 Windmere Rd., Pittsburgh. Todd Owens and Michelle Pagano Heck, both of Nonprofit Talent, will give advice on topics such as what job seekers should know, qualities Nonprofit Talent looks for in an applicant, what mistakes applicants should never make, and much more. Annual Meeting
MARCH 19—The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership will host its Annual Meeting at 4 p.m. at the Westin Convention Center Hotel, 1000 Penn Ave., Downtown. Keynote speaker Janette Sadik-Khan, former commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation, will discuss how cities are reimaging and reorienting streets to prioritize safe driving, transit, biking, walking and public activity. Also, Mayor Bill Peduto will announce a new collaborative initiative addressing urban innovation and planning for Downtown. Registration is requested.
