Chris Moore, producer, radio/television talk show host, and multiple Emmy Award winner, added another Emmy to his credit at the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards on Sept. 28. Moore won for Interview/Discussion Program/Special for the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Squirrel Hill. In his acceptance speech, Moore said that the subject was not a pleasant one, but one that had to be told and discussed.

Moore can be seen on WQED-TV and PCNC-TV, and heard on KDKA-AM (1020) with his show, “The Moore of Pittsburgh.”

Moore is a graduate of Grambling State University, and founder and co-chairperson of the educational committee of the Pittsburgh Black Media Federation’s Frank Bolden Urban Journalism Workshop.
