Supervisor – AFCS
Retail Sales
Port Authority is seeking a Supervisor – AFCS Retail Sales to report all retail sales activity and AFCS fare media and equipment disputes. Provides prompt and professional resolution to AFCS third-party retailers by assisting with AFCS equipment issues through the AFCS helpdesk and escalates issues when outside of scope. Ensures prompt and professional resolution to all AFCS complaints and provides support to the Downtown Service Center.
Essential Functions:
•Supervise the IBEW Customer Clerks at the Downtown Service Center
•Monitors monthly sales activity of third-party retail outlets. Verifies and validates claims for incorrect charges due to AFCS equipment malfunctions, load errors on sales terminal, or incorrect amounts loaded to cards. Reconciles third-party accounts and generates monthly invoices.
•Provides responsive, timely support to all third-party retail outlet accounts by providing basic level diagnosis of remote Sales Outlet Terminal equipment to identify source of problem and either assists client by working through processes or escalates issue as needed. Submits monthly reports summarizing helpdesk activity and follow-up.
Job requirements include:
•High school diploma or GED.
•Associate degree or successful completion of two (2) years or college level coursework in Business Administration or related field. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Two (2) years of experience providing administrative support,
•Three (3) years of experience providing customer service
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Valid PA driver’s license
•Effective and professional communication skills, including strong telephone skills.
•Ability to prioritize multiple work objectives and schedules.
Preferred attributes:
•Customer Service experience.

Project Controls Analyst
Port Authority is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to assists in developing contract specifications for equipment and supplies, including developing Request for Bids. Researches non-contractual products for price quotes according to specifications. Orders office supplies for company; researches and purchases non-contractual office supplies/equipment, furniture, and printing services. Monitors/tracks IT contracts and budgets. Reconciles invoices and resolves invoice discrepancies. Maintains adequate stock of office products for the company. Point of contact for all IT purchases, office equipment and furniture repairs and purchases. Point of contact for Post Office mail accounts.
Essential Functions:
•Researches products and obtains price quotes for non-contractual products such as paper stock, non-paper supplies, technology equipment under $10,000, furniture, and professional printing services. Maintains adequate stock for company with products provided by Administrative Services. Reviews purchase orders from other departments, creates purchase orders, and obtains order approval, shipping verification, returns, delivery confirmation.
•Assists in monitoring department budget against expenditures. Reconciles purchase orders and invoices for payment for Administrative Services and Information Technology. Resolves invoice discrepancies with vendors. Maintains databases pertaining to all orders placed. Codes invoices for payment. Arranges new mail accounts and maintains adequate postage in various accounts. Generates costs analysis and provides input to manager for proposed capital and budget expenditures.
Job requirements include:
•BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Finance or related field. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
•Experience in data analysis, budgeting, and office equipment and maintenance.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
•Effective and professional communication and organizational skills. Preferred attributes:
•Experience in PeopleSoft.
•Experience as a member of an implementation team.
•Experience in evaluating database applications.
•Experience supervising or coordinating efforts of others.

Telecommunications
Specialist
Port Authority is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to process incoming telephone and radio calls, dispatching the appropriate police, fire, and emergency medical services units, as needed. To monitor activities throughout Port Authority subway stations ensuring the safety of employees, property and the general public.
Essential Functions:
•Observe monitors throughout the subway stations ensuring that no unusual or threatening acts are taking place against Port Authority employees, property, and the general public.
•Process incoming calls from the public via emergency and non-emergency telephone lines.
•Make response decisions regarding police, fire, and emergency medical services, dispatching appropriate agency.
•Follow proper procedures and techniques in communicating with transit/local police, emergency medical services, and fire departments.
•Answer the emergency patron phones located in the subway, as required.
Job requirements include:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•Minimum of one (1) year experience within the emergency response/security services field.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Must be CLEAN (Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network) certified.
•Must be willing to successfully complete the course required for APCO Certification (basic telecommunications training) and other courses, as assigned by supervisor.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows.
•Must be able to work extended shifts, as needed.
•This is a Safety-Sensitive position subject to all testing provisions under the Drug and Alcohol Policy, including random drug and alcohol testing. The person selected for this position may be required to be tested prior to being awarded the job.
