The Homewood Healthy Active Living Center, on Frankstown Avenue, held its Juneteenth celebration on Wednesday, June 17. There was line dancing, poetry, speakers, vendors, music, food and overall fun. The Homewood Healthy Active Living Center has truly put the “A” in active, hosting numerous senior-themed events this year, including bingo, a Black History Month event celebrating iconic R&B groups, and it remains a trusted information center for seniors. The center is located at 7321 Frankstown Ave.
