This week I visited The Compass Club, Black Beauty Bar, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, CJ’s and Savoy Restaurant, both in the Strip District, Kenny’s Place and Ace and Deuces Bar in Uptown. My first stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where everyone came out to get their party and drink on for the weekend. Everyone came to represent at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District for the weekend.
This week I visited Kelly’s Bar in East Liberty, Ava Lounge in East Liberty and Tim’s Bar in the Hill District. My first stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where everybody knows your name. This week I visited Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall where Savoy Restaurant presented “The Thanksgiving Weekend Soul Jam” starring Keith Sweat, special guest Johnny Gill and featuring Pittsburgh’s own Dell Saunders. This week I visited the Blakely Center in the Hill District, Kenny’s Place in Uptown, Ace & Deuces Lounge in Uptown, Galaxy Lounge in Homewood, Shadow Lounge in East Liberty, and Savoy Restaurant and CJ’s, both in the Strip District. This week I visited Young Brother’s Bar on the North Side, The Improv in Homestead, CJ’s in the Strip District, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District and Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District. My first stop was at the Improv in Homestead where R&B group Artistree hosted an event for the homeless. This event also featured the Teresa Hawthorne Band, Kevin Howard and Ms. Gina Yohe. Upon our arrival to Pittsburgh about ten years ago, there was not much electricity or spark when it came to the fashion community. There was a presence from recognized former models and people of fashion that included Debbie Norrell, Michelle Goodman, Bill Neal and others that were still bearing fashion fruitage. This week I visited The Kingsley Association in East Liberty, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, The Hill House Kaufmann Center in the Hill District, Kenny’s Place in Uptown and the Ava Lounge in East Liberty. My first stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District where comedian Coco performed and had the crowd in stitches. Comedian Mike Bonner was the host of the show.
