Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited The Kingsley Association in East Liberty, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, The Hill House Kaufmann Center in the Hill District, Kenny’s Place in Uptown and the Ava Lounge in East Liberty.

My first stop was at The Kingsley Association in East Liberty where State Representative Ed Gainey held a party with all of the trimmings. There was great food and speakers and hundreds came out to support the Democratic ticket.

My next stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District where Celebrity Fridays was held featuring comedian Alex Scott. This event had the crowd laughing all night long.

My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where the owner Caren celebrated her birthday in grand style with friends, family, food and great music by the DJ Nick Nice.

My next stop was at the Hill House Kaufmann Center where Talk Magazine and many other organizations held their “Get out the Vote Concert” featuring many politicians and musicians.

My next stop was at Kenny’s Place in the Hill District where Raynell celebrated her birthday and the food was off the chain.

My final destination was at the Ava Lounge in East Liberty where DJ Big Phil celebrated his birthday with family and friends and the DJ was playing the hits for the crowd.
