PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is investigating a stabbing that occurred in Allentown earlier this afternoon.
Zone 3 Officers responded to the 700 block of Excelsior Street just after 1:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 41 year old female victim lying in the street with multiple stab wounds. According to the investigation, the victim ran outside and collapsed after being stabbed inside of a residence. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.
The actor, Leroy Kent, 48, of Knoxville, fled the scene. He was taken into custody shortly after in the South Side. He has since been transported to UPMC Mercy for injuries sustained from a fall while fleeing police. The investigation is ongoing.
